Epcot’s La Cantina de San Angel and Gran Fiesta Tour to Open at 9 AM

With the expansion of Epcot’s Norway Pavilion the World Showcase may be inching closer to returning the operating hours it had years ago.

Beginning June 21st The Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros at Epcot’s Mexico Pavilion will open at 9 AM instead of the usual 11 AM opening of World Showcase.  This coincides with the opening of ‘Frozen Ever After’ at the Noreay Pavilion next door.


The attraction will open early along with a new breakfast at La Cantina de San Angel.

The menu includes three breakfast dishes –

Chilaquiles con huevos ($8.75) – Two fries eggs, layers of fried corn tortilla, with green tomatillo sauce, topped with queso fresco, onions and sour cream.

Tamal verde con huevos ($8.75) – Scrambled eggs, corn dough filled with pork chorizo, covered with green tomatillo sauce.

Pambazo de chorizo con huevo ($9.95) – Bread roll filled with scrambled eggs, chorizo, jack cheese, red onions, lettuce and guacamole.

There will also be a Kid’s Menu available:

Huevos revueltos ($5.99) – Scrambled eggs topped with cheese, served with potatoes and fruit.

The breakfast menu will be available daily from 9 AM to 11 AM.
