Splash Mountain at Magic Kingdom Closing for Most of January 2018 for Another Refurbishment

Disney has scheduled Splash Mountain at the Magic Kingdom for another refurbishment early next year.

The refurbishment is scheduled to begin on January 8 and last through February 1, with a reopening to guests on February 2nd next year.

Currently Splash Mountain is nearing the end of a major refurbishment, which began on August 28th and lasting through November 16th.

The January refurbishment has been rumored for some time. The closure seems to have been confirmed because Disney has now begun cancelling FP+ selections during that time frame.
