One Cruise Critic editor had this to say, “Jedi training, a Frozen-themed deck party, ship-wide holiday celebrations: Disney knows best what kids want on vacation, and it delivers. Families can have fun together by the pool or at a show, or go their separate ways with adults-only restaurants and sun decks, and huge kids clubs with activities day and night.”

But, it doesn’t stop there. Disney Cruise Line also won “Best for Dining”. Another Cruise Critic editor shared that “Disney Cruise Line provides standout service, delicious food in specialty restaurants like Palo and Remy, and a quirky touch of magic in its main dining rooms.”

Awards like these are a true testament to Disney’s crew members’ commitment to creating an unforgettable experience for their guests at sea.

The ship was named “Best for First-Timers,” and also received “Best Cabins” and “Best Public Rooms” in the Small Ship category. Viking Star’s sister-ship, Viking Sea, will launch later in 2016.

This is the fifth year that an Oceania ship won “Best Dining” in the Mid-Size category, with Marina receiving the nod this year. Oceania received five awards in total, including “Best Cabins” and “Best Fitness & Recreation” for Oceania Riviera.
