Walt Disney World’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground is in the process of putting together plans to add a new dining pavilion.
Walt Disney Parks & Resorts has filed for a permit with the South Florida Water Management District for a project that involves more than 3.65 acres of infrastructure “to serve a new dining pavilion building and associated pargo (golf cart) parking at Fort Wilderness,” according to reports.
The new dining pavilion will be located near Bay Lake and the Settlement Trading Post according to plans.
There’s no clear construction timeline, but filing for a water-management district permit means that Disney is taking steps to begin work soon.
